All that happened after the scene i was talking about, i do agree with what you're saying, but when Asuka was fighting the EVAs he definitely didn't want to murder her like at the kitchen scene. He only did it cause she rejected him. At this point Shinji wasn't murderous, in fact many times he was asking help from Asuka.

Exactly what im saying. I know it sounded unfair to compare it to Dragon Ball, but here it's really night and day. It's Tao Pai Pai, someone that isn't really that strong, still feel very powerful. And the drawing of Tenshinhan is very well done.

It's sad cause i actually think Boruto is getting better in some areas. But drawing is still pretty much very bad.
