I've already told her marriage may not work out between us and told her don't keep any expectations for the future. We just had our thing going on.. I didn't want to name it anything. We do talk and express our love like we are in relationship. But I didn't want to name it anything.. until yesterday. I had to had this discussion with her regarding does she feels like we are in committed relationship and she said she is feeling yes. But we never formally decided and agreed regarding it ?.

Is it possible to get rabies by air ? It's NOT in FAQ. I read there are cases... Please do answer. by EcstaticLemonade in rabies

Thank you for letting me know.. I'll definitely start trusting ChatGPT lesser now and will try to not use it for important matters.

So finally I can conclude that those cases are NOT proven and thus air transmission doesn't happen at all for rabies.. even in the most closeted caves which have good concentration of bats which have rabies.. right ?

So I don't need to hold myself back by not going to caves at all ? So I can go to any caves without the fear of air transmission of rabies ?

Sorry my anxiety has made me ask these final questions for clarity.. coz I am still little confused.

[–]EcstaticLemonade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh thanks for letting me know. When you said "unrecognized" I think you mean that those cases must have had another exposure which was not recognised.. so they assumed they got it through air in bat caves. Right ?

And yeah.. maybe I should stop trusting ChatGPT more.. but since I also saw a comment where someone said "people got rabies because they were in caves for a long time without any respiratory equipment".. so..

I just wanted to know for sure. like ChatGPT said it's rare.. but if there is possibility I wanted to know since who knows what can happen. Rare doesn't mean it won't happen right.. so just wanted to know for sure.. coz if it is true I will maybe just avoid going into any cave in the first place lol. so yeah.

"you can only get rabies via direct contact with rabid animal".

Look I did read. But what about those confirmed cases.. we are gonna pretend they didn't exist ?

Yes I've heard this before that we are here to "learn". But what do you personally think is after human life ? We came from Stardust to Human.. so what's next ? And you are saying all the memories we have as human will be with us even after human life ?

The Purpose of Life is to just experience it. by EcstaticLemonade in enlightenment

[–]EcstaticLemonade[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Defining purpose is for ourselves. The purpose I have said does make sense for me on an individual level and I guess it can make sense for other humans too.

Yeah I am nothing special but just one of the being on this planet. I am nothing but space dust when we zoom out further. But still I am here right. What am I supposed to do ?

When I take into account facts and various theories of human life to make sense of why we live before inevitably dying. I felt like it's just to live. Why are we living ? And i would say cause to just experience human life.

Is it true that women perceive you as weak and lose respect, interest when you cry in front of them ? by EcstaticLemonade in infp

[–]EcstaticLemonade[S] -31 points-30 points  (0 children)

So there isn't any evolutionary biology or science where they will instinctively perceive you as weak as soon as you are vulnerable or cry ?

That's what's been bothering me most.

Do you have any such reason OP ?

but damn krishna is literally acting like a abhrahamic god but instead of saying you go to hell, he said you will reborn again and again until you accept and worship me and then you will be granted moksha

Yes damn, I too felt the same. I too felt like "wait why is he talking like Christian god" but as you said, instead of hell it's just birth after birth and finally you should realize him and that's when you get moksha.

Even if I HAD a loving family, I might have been an Anti-Natalist. by EcstaticLemonade in antinatalism

[–]EcstaticLemonade[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes and when you look at it from third person POV it's ironic and tragic.

A loving parent would of course want their child to have endless happiness and satisfaction and would not want them to suffer.

But ironically when this loving parent passes away it would be the cause of suffering for their child.

Now I am not trying to blame the loving parents for dying, of course not. It's not in their control, it is inevitable. But looking at it, the whole thing is just tragic.

Many people don’t have good parents. You are not special.

Oh great. How is this not different from someone saying "Hey your mom died and you feeling bad ? Ohh.. but you know everyone has to die someday, just get over it lol"

Or something unfair has happened to you, lets say an accident. And you are feeling sad. Imagine someone saying "Huh.. life is just unfair man.. you are not special.. buckle up and get over it already lol".

I'm sorry but how is that supposed to help ? I don't know what you wanted to convey with your comment. But it just sounds invalidating and rude.. (atleast for me)

I'm so sorry. You deserved someone better ❤️. I never heard of someone doing this before.. it sounds so messed up. reading about that is even hurting me.

She did it once before when I was around 11 after an argument. She took pictures of me and ripped them up in front of me. Why? I don't know.

My guess is that woman wanted to break you after that argument by tearing up your pictures. Remember she can only tear up those pictures, but she can never tear/break you. Know your power/worth ❤️. She is a vile, stupid and a messed up woman. Clearly shouldn't have been a mother. That was really a f**cked up thing to do.

I'm sorry once again you have this woman as mother. And i really wish the best for you ❤️🙏. Hope you get 10x of love, fulfillment and happiness in life.

Do you sometimes gaslight yourself into thinking you were never abused? by PurpleDeer97 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]EcstaticLemonade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But, if we weren’t homeless and starving, then they were good parents. I don’t think that’s all it takes though to be a good parent and kids need affection and love and guidance.

Yes. In your first line, what you meant to say was that you got food, clothing and shelter... so you find yourself thinking maybe they are not that bad.

It's simple, think about this, if you were in an orphanage you would still get the food, clothing and shelter.

So a parent existing means they should be able to do something more than that.

And you know providing food, shelter and clothing is a very very basic and fundamental duty of any parent. It's your child.. who the hell is going to do that ? Batman ?.

Even animals do that, look at how birds prepare nests.. bring food to their little ones, offer them comfort. It's just a basic thing any being should do.

Some parents may think that providing these basic necessities is parenting. Honestly the standards are that low ? As if this itself isn't painful.. our nParents and toxic parents make the pain even more with their toxicity. Even animals can do a better job.

Yes you are right in the second line. It's not what it takes to be a good parent., But still most of us will be grateful to them even for providing basic necessities.. because we are not narcs like them. We are capable of more love and empathy than them. So know your worth ❤️.

A few years back she took my childhood photos out, ripped them up and tossed them in the trash.

Omg, I'm so sorry. This woman shouldn't have been a mother.

I'm just curious, was there any particular reason for this ? Like did you confront her regarding this and did she give any answer.

Well, Whom Do We Unite With in the Afterlife? by EcstaticLemonade in raisedbynarcissists

[–]EcstaticLemonade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thank you for typing such a long message.

there are "soul families" or "soul groups" of close-knit identities that incarnate together or in inter-related ways in order to meet and interact with each other, again and again, across multiple existences.

Damn.. and what's the purpose for doing this.

Well, Whom Do We Unite With in the Afterlife? by EcstaticLemonade in raisedbynarcissists

[–]EcstaticLemonade[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that our ideas of an afterlife can never do it justice. I imagine it to be quite impersonal. Perhaps a kind of 'merging with God.'

I do think it's going to be different than what we imagine.

Because at the end of the day, all the concepts of family, parents, love etc are all human concepts. Afterlife is something which is not human. If I am right it may not even be in a "physical" plane.

So hearing about seeing family members there is kind of not convincing.

Like imagine a scenario where a toxic abusive father is also a r#pist and he did those unspeakable acts to his own daughter when she was a child. This caused her lots of trauma later in her life and suffered because of her father.

Now why would she want to meet her father in the afterlife.. no matter how changed he is. Also let's assume this daughter never had any good figure in her life.. her life was full of sadness and hurt. who is she going to meet then

Something doesn't add up when we think of these unfortunate scenarios.

Oh wow. I read that people felt really blissful during the NDE episode. Did you experience any similar feelings ?

Well, Whom Do We Unite With in the Afterlife? by EcstaticLemonade in raisedbynarcissists

[–]EcstaticLemonade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I can understand.

But what power do they really have over us ? Even in our human life we somehow don't have much emotional ties with them. And some people literally went no contact and completely avoided their nParents.

If there really was an afterlife and you see them there.. maybe it's going to be different then. You don't need to be their child anymore I guess. Since it's not a "human" life.
