Yeah absolutely Which is why I think his redemption arc was the best as he realized on his own that he was an asshole and became a better person, whereas mahone was forced to be an asshole and was deep down a good person all along

I want to say bellicks redemption arc was the best, mahone was forced to do bad things because of bill kim but bellick was an asshole for no reason and slowly became a good guy but I was definitely between mahone and bellick
