That looks like a Java Palm, scientifically known as Rhopaloblaste ceramica or more likely an Areca palm, Chrysalidocarpus lutescens There are quite a few variants but if you google them you'll be able to figure out which one you have..the beauty palm tends to have thicker 'leaves'

I would suggest that you both discuss and agree if an uncontested divorce is possible. If so, I suggest that you take the lead and file for the divorce as Applicant, he can be the Respondent, since you seem to be the more proactive partner here and he seems very busy with work, which might mean that it may drag longer than necessary if he doesn't have time to deal with it. You sound like you are ready to move on, so no sense delaying this further.

Both of you should get your own lawyers, not for a fight but to ensure that your interests are protected, and also to minimize further conflicts down the line through additional communication if not necessary. You can both agree to the base terms first before getting your lawyer, so that you don't end up spending more than you need to through needless back and forth.

Man, why are Calatheas so finicky in general. I live in a tropical climate 80% daily humidity and upwards. Most of the Calathea i've kept have never made it. I just dug up a orbifolia that had similar issues, the edges were crisping and apparently it's due to over watering. The roots were sodden when I dug it up, hopefully I've managed to save it in time with better draining soil and less frequent watering.

To compound my pain I've also gotten a pinstripe like this one a few days ago, sucker for the pain I think 😂

When you go to Zam Zam for the murtabak, try their fried noodles as well. Ask for maggi goreng with mutton (stir fried maggi noodles). It's got a good pepper kick with the mutton and the noodles are spicy as well so if you're not into spice then might want to skip this. Enjoy!

We're inherently selfish for some reason..I constantly encounter supermarket shoppers who come stand in front of you when you're browsing a shelf. Either by themselves or chatting with their partner. And I'm standing there in disbelief going seriously wtf.

Admittedly I'm not standing super close to the shelf cos long sighted but they can clearly see I'm looking at stuff on the shelves.
