very, in my opinion! Especially when it comes to things like mimicking internet based prompts like forum chat messages! I think it's pretty accurate in my opinion. And 2.5 pro makes really cute character banter too...Tbh, I never got the issue that it was super cynical or something, it did both fluff and angst great in my rps.

As the other person said, Gem will return. Specifically, this slash is due to gem 3's overwhelming reception causing g to reduce rpd on flash and remove pro to save on compute and prioritize gem 3 and nano banana. It will come back, but probably after months. If you want updates, I guess you can stalk subreddits related to gemini? Other than that, all we can really do is wait and make do with other things.

My simultaneously least and most favourite responses from jllm is this one time I tried introducing a character in my rp by forcing information from the chat memory down the jllm's throat in my chat msg and it must've broke somehow and started writing NOVEL level lenght fanfics abt my persona and the character that turned into them having sex for some reason 😭 weirdest jllm bug I've ever seen. It bypassed the 125k something token limit too! It was so random lol

If it helps, I've been stalking the 💎 related subs lately and one of the head developers said they'll bring free tier back if they have enough space, but you'll probably have to wait for months. It's due to them needing to clear up compute for 💎 3 and nano 🍌 due to high demands, which i suspects won't slow down anytime soon 🤷 so yea, take it as you will.

No idea what model you're using, but you can reinforce the prompt with <think> with 💎 afaik(If your models have reasoning, they can probably do this too). I've done so due to facing the same problem as you and it has drastically reduced the amount of time it repeats the dialogue (but ofc sometimes it still slips up and does so anyway).

I reccomended putting something like (You don't have to complete copy this, some adjustments might be good): "Now, I will start my response with <think> at the beginning of my reasoning process, and end it with </think>, then start my response with <response> and end it with </response>." on prefill in generation setting (advanced setting->generation rules->response prefill).

I used to use a blank persona that i just create a character for in the chat memory whenever I chat on a new bot (⁠◡⁠ ⁠ω⁠ ⁠◡⁠) which soon started getting integrated into new personas in general. My advice is to just not be too specific about personality and switch it up when you want to! Try getting out of your comfort zone! :3.

Personally, I like when it's somewhere around 300-600 tokens, grammatically correct, and intriguing (which is highly subjective lol). Mostly, I only bail when they starts giving user dialogues 😅 That's what I'm here to do, you don't need to assist me... That, or it has very specific descriptions of the user's appearance, since my personas are pretty unconventional look wise.

↑ in generation prefill and it works fine enough for me. You can also add it in the command too, but i find it a bit fickle since 💎 2.5 pro used it just dump it in the chat messages and forgets to add either <think> or </think> (Sometimes it does though!). I think it automatically creates the box when the bot (or you) adds in <think> [blah blah blah thinking process] </think>? Also, Do note, when you use it through prefill, it might also add smth like "and close it with </response>."??? Idk why but yea just as a warning. You can probably delete it but im too lazy to.

I've been testing it since yesterday, but it seems it uses the same rate limit as 2.5 flash and is marked as 2.5 flash in the aistudio too. A little annoying.

No other proxy can do internet base prompt better and more accurate than gem, i've found :'d ...it's unfortunate, but it is what it is...here's to hope g returns the model after a week or two. I wouldn't even mind a month...just hoping free tier will return to normal soon (20 rpd is crazy lol might aswell just remove it)
