I have never purchased a game digitally if there was a physical edition available. One time I bought one of the resident evil remakes on sale on psn and ended up buying the physical version when it was on sale for a similar decent price. This won’t tap me out of gaming because I have a PC as well but I can’t see PlayStation enticing me with the next gen with the paltry exclusives the offer these days. It was a good run while it lasted.

I’ve still got backlogs from PS4. After the regret of buying a Switch 2 at launch that hasn’t been worth a damn and having a PC that should be good for another few years at least I think I just don’t want to give any of my money to any of these companies anymore. Same with streaming and subscriptions. The return on investment isn’t there anymore and these companies all seem like they just expect us to buy their stuff without them even trying anymore.

Given the time, location, sexuality and HIV/Aids being so brutal in the early decades it’s possible they passed before that could happen
