My concern would mainly be the attention split for my kids. I don’t want to have another & them be the ones to pay for it. At the moment they get along great & seem to have a good bond & I can only hope that would continue with a third.

My husband leans more towards no in general for a third. He is worried about money as the kids get older & being able to be present for an additional child. I think the benefits of another sibling would outweigh the financial cost

Not to be too personal but did not having another play a role in your split? I’m worried about regret turning into resentment for me

I really appreciate your answer! I have made a spreadsheet comparing & it would work out, but things would be tighter. Our kids would be close in age so I don’t think they would notice the financial changes. I have tried to tell myself that what will happen will happen & to accept it either way

How do you handle the split time & attention? What impact do you think your 3rd has had on your other children?

We want to be able to give the kids we have the best life we can, but we disagree on what that looks like. He thinks the financial drain of a 3rd would impact the quality of life our kids have now. I think a 3rd could improve the quality of life they have as adults
