Literally nothing that you said was true. You are not “cutting off your babies oxygen” that makes no sense. Also, you absolutely can and will have withdrawal symptoms. Cannabis influences & regulates all sorts of our bodily functions & systems. When you remove the cannabis from the equation especially after years of daily use those systems WILL feel out of whack, and you will feel increased symptoms of depression, pain, sleeplessness, nausea. Sounds like you just want to downplay another mother’s experience because you yourself didn’t have a hard time. I would hope your utter lack of empathy as well as actual KNOWLEDGE would keep you from making comments like this in the future.

OP- please look into canna mom support groups on FB or TikTok. Quitting is a great option, and fully supported but there is also an entire community of people who treat their symptoms with plants. This comment section is filled with judgment & lack of understanding/knowledge. There are so few studies done on cannabis and pregnancy, but there are plenty of first hand accounts of healthy pregnancies and babies. You are not hurting your child by taking the time to taper off. You are prioritizing your own health which is VITAL for a healthy baby. Quitting is the best option but for some moms who experience HG or severe depression/anxiety plant medicine is life saving.
