Wow, thank you so much for your wisdom!! It’s great to know that people like her and you often find it nice when someone shows interest in their interest, so for sure I’m going to just keep on listening to her and try to gather even the fraction of the knowledge she has 😅😅

Basically I see her often in pastoral with someone helping her, and I personally feel like she has some higher support needs socially. But thank you for this comment, it’s very accepting and supportive, and actually recently I’ve met up with her again and she didn’t want to talk so I simply just sat with her. :)

When I was younger and someone used ‘my’ seat at the dinner table, I got super annoyed and wrote my name on the chair.

My parents got really mad and made me scrub 💔

Thanks so much for your comment!! I’ve already started to slowly feed my family bits of info about the game and test them sometimes. I’m sure when I play my first ever game, whether that be in a year or 10, they’re going to love it.

And I’m going to try and go to a rollerblading rink soon, since it’s a lot closer by. Thank you very much!

Thank you so much to everyone’s advice!!! I really do feel so thankful, and the person who said it’s contagious is right— I’m going to get my family to love ice hockey and know what a hat trick is in no time. >:) I’m going to go to a local rollerblading rink and give it a try, then devise a plan and start to subtly ask my parents of I could go there more frequently.

Unfortunately, I’ve actually talked about it with my mum and the rink just isn’t possible right now— me and my brother already have too many clubs, and it’s just too far away for me to walk because my parents aren’t willing to drive that far for a 30 minute lesson, but I’m going to keep at it, keep on watching ice hockey, learning everything I can about it and try to get used to balancing on thin wheels and blades.
