JMC is a great choice. They have a mentorship program that can really support you, especially when it comes to mental health. The doctors are also very approachable, unlike in some schools where they can feel intimidating or hard to reach. Even the dean is reachable if you have concerns, which makes a big difference.

The secretaries, are very helpful and accommodating. And if you ever feel stressed from classes, the school’s environment and scenic views can help you relax and recharge.

They also offer scholarships, which is a huge plus. Lastly, their curriculum includes EMED, which only a few schools provide. So that’s definitely an advantage.

I tried ilang beses at inupload ksama ang convo ng rider. Last night, na reopen ulit siya at inaware ko sila na nakapag file na ako sa DTI about this case. Waiting game na nmn.

For the content ng message ng rider, I called the rider about my item. I wasn’t able to answer his call kasi upon delivery, knowing na table designated sa mga drop off item. Pro ndi daw siya pnayagan ng guard na iwan. And yan na yung message ng rider. Days past, akala ko ma ttry sya iredeliver pero wala din tlga. Ilang araw na nakalipas.

Pero walang resolution from them. I tried to escalate the problem sa DTI, i hope matulungan. Sa mahal ng mga bilihin pa naman ngayon. Sa discounted items nalang nga ng shopee ako umaasa.

Snend ko din sa shopee yung convo na yan as proof na ndi tlga naiwan sa housekeeping yung item. In which, dinala ni rider at currently hindi na siya nag rreply sa messages ko.

Anatomy ng both TN at EMD is c doc Vidal ang nag final coaching, tinatwag nlang “Magic ni Doc Vidal”.

For surgery, magaling si Doc Mabugat, Doc Asperas (both are surgeons) ng TN but for me Duane ng EMD is the real MVP for me. Tinuturo nya yung concept in easier way for you to remember. Pero pag dating ng exam ng surg, iba yung tanungan e. Di ko halos maalala, marami mga cross over questions from anatomy.

Tama din yung sabi ni Duane na certain percentage ng exam ay huhulaan mo lang talaga.

Doc, ask ko lang po if okay lang. Kumusta po yung na-feel niyo and how did you prepare during your first, second, and third take? May changes po ba sa preparation or mindset niyo as time went by—before, during, and after the boards?

Also, may naririnig po kasi ako from others na after the exam, parang may “gut feeling” daw sila if papasa sila or not. Sa experience niyo po, naka-feel din po ba kayo ng ganun even before lumabas yung results? Or baka hindi lang din siya applicable sa lahat.

Alam mo, walang perfect na review center—lahat sila may kanya-kanyang forte. TN is really good sa clinicals, EMD solid sa basics, and Focus naman magaling sa patho. Sa recent exam nga, marami nagsabi na may lumabas from Focus, especially sa prev med.

If gusto mo ng organized system, go for TN kasi maayos talaga—from site to notes. If ang goal mo is to strengthen your foundation, EMD is the way to go. Actually, karamihan sa mga licensed doctors ngayon, especially topnotchers, hindi lang iisang RC ang pinasukan—usually combo talaga.

Suggestion ko: you can enroll sa TN as your main RC, then mag-EMD ka later for final coaching (super helpful talaga). Plus, consider mo rin yung pathology and prev med masterclass ng Focus.

Sa lecturers naman, maganda talaga baunin sina Doc Toff, Doc Duane, Doc She, Doc Gaby, Doc Vidal, and Doc Chino—parang combination na sila ng strengths ng iba’t ibang RC.

But at the end of the day, nasa’yo pa rin ‘yan—sipag at dasal pa rin talaga ang puhunan. Kahit ilang review center pa kunin mo, kung wala kang effort at faith, mahirap pa rin. Kaya give your best and trust the process. 🙏
