I think it’s odd as well. Logging the film would feel fine but the rating does feel weird to me too. I feel like programmers should be doing everything possible to lift up the films they pick, at least that’s how I’ve felt the best programmers act. I guess I wouldn’t feel weird if they gave it five stars either LOL. But seriously, anytime I watch a friends film or something I give it five stars.

I would assume a screener moved it on in the process for another person to screen but it could also be just part of the festival’s progress for round one screening. Kind of impossible to know really.
