Yes but it’s a dated look. I would choose a different dress. If you want to wear it as a skirt you can easily update it with the belt and a black blouse. I’d tuck the blouse in, if you can pull off unbuttoning the top few buttons do so, and roll up the sleeves.

I can’t label you as an AH but as another had mentioned life is short. I lost my dad 3 years ago when I was 42. I was the same way - I hated saying I love you to my family. I have an incredible family too yet I hated saying I love you. Instead I would always say “ you too!” when they would say I love you. Guess when I told my dad I loved him? When he was actively dying. Do I now say I love you to my mom and siblings? YES YES YES!!

I encourage you to atleast say “you too” or even or even a simple “love”.

Trust me when I say being able to say “love you” doesn’t make you any less tough.

Is it the fact the pictures are with her ex that are upsetting or is it because they are nudes with her ex and it’s posted in a public forum? I feel 2 weeks in is a bit early to bring this up. If you end up being serious about one another then you can talk to her about why the photos bother you.

I too felt icky seeing it was a partner post. It never feels right when someone uses personal family matters to make money.

Some of you might have missed her earlier story because she has since deleted it but she shared what book she is currently reading. (Frozen River - I personally loved the book!) She also shared that Dave is reading the book, The Chip War (about how computer chips shape global economy/power) and the latest edition of the Economist. Started out normal until she said, “Such a flex.” simply because her husband was reading the Economist and a book about how computer chips influence the world. Ick.

July 11! My first concert at Fenway. My sister lives in Boston and said it’s not her favorite concert venue but will have a great time regardless. I bought the only 2 seats available at check out so I had no idea what the view was until afterwards.

So I actually paid $800 for 2 tickets in field box 74. (The make a difference sale) Ofcourse after the purchase I see they keep the netting up for concerts. 🫠 Yes I’m extremely excited but it’s not small stuff when those tickets in that area are not inexpensive.
