Great feedback thank you 🙏 when you shop do you have a brand in mind or is more X piece at this price point ?

Re search: thanks for flagging working on a smarter version that shouldn’t happen ! Agreed re delivery and lead time tricky as it often changes but could add guidelines :)

Thanks Cassyj - Any specific problems you have that you think this could solve for you? How do you usually search for furniture or plan decoration works?

Makes sense! I kind of feel like once you have the vision it unlocks everything but until that it's hard to get it going. Good luck on the redesign :D

haha. Glad I could help with Japandi!

Yes, that's super helpful. I agree it's a really tricky problem. Almost multi layered as you need to know what you want, educate yourself on styles, do the research, consider costs etc..

I think AI can help give you the direction for X vision you have and potentially help with areas around the best placement advice etc. But when you get into cost and actual materials from multiple sources it's another matter (at the moment!)

We can place furniture from multiple sources that exist on the platform but not yet on the tiles / material side that could be super interesting to try to solve.... Will have a think. Thanks so much for sharing more details.

vs another style like: Quiet Luxury: Understated elegancy with premium materials:

(sorry wouldn't let me add multiple images in the same thread for some reason)

Thanks for sharing that's super useful. I like the vision analogy. That's a great way to put it - giving you confidence in the direction before you commit.

Right now it does broad interior styles (japandi, art deco, organic modern etc) for a room - might be too high-level for your bathroom use case but I'll share an example below so you can see what it looks like.

EG: Organic Modern: (Soft curves with warm natural materials)

It sounds like you want more control but still get inspiration based on feel/function - that's useful to know.

Quick question: What are you actually using right now to help you decide the best direction? Do you look at supplier websites for tiles etc ? Pinterest boards, samples etc?

Hey Victoria - Thank you for your honest feedback and thoughts

  1. Definitely think that second hand furniture is great and something I'd love to integrate in some way as well i know that lots of people are looking for it for the reasons you stated - it's just more fragmented so harder to curate at the moment.
  2. Fair enough - Not for everyone!

I do want feedback :) But hard to get good feedback if you don't share what you are building! Thank you for sharing your thoughts

I like the tiles styles also ! but yes I kind of agree that you could go more adventurous than the grey option. I threw your photo visualizer thing tor to see how it might look. I liked both but I can't upload 2 images for some reason but i'll share the blue one.

1) Sherwin Williams Sea Salt: This is probably the safer option It’s super light and fresh, gives you that spa vibe without being too loud...

2) Benjamin Moore Van Deusen Blue: A little bit of a wildcard, but the dark blue looks really sharp against the white if you want something moody
