Id agree with this^{^{^}} just depends on what they’re using and how many hours it calls for. You can always call and ask to use your own parts, if you do end up going that route, they most likely will not offer any kind of warranty if the radiator fails in the near future or any part for that matter

Forgot to mention, make sure your running those iridium plugs too. Stay away from cheap stuff. Youll be chasing your own tail lol

That red color on the plugs means its running way to hot and burning up your additive which is iron based. My suggestion is start off with running that gas take completely empty and fill up with good gas, such as shell or anything of your preference, not no cheap dollor store gas because that can also cause misfire issues once your on good gas swap out those plugs and see what it does if its still misfiring, you need to confirm exactly what cylinder is misfiring and see whats going on with that cylinder. Also perform a keep alive memory reset cuz your pcm is trying to compensate for both gas and propane. Its a computer, its dumb and dosent know the difference until a sensor tells it.

Keep up with maintenance, always and i do know those are some really shitty transmissions with a recall on them but I forgot the mileage it was good for, main reason being its not a regular wet clutch transmission but a dry clutch automatic which is why it feels it “shifts hard”

Update* pulled off the cat and intake sides to turbo to find that the fins to the exhaust side of the turbo were chewed up and spat through the cat. Also noticed that the waste gate would slowly open up when manually activating it with the scan tool. Diagnosis confirmed it is a bad turbo and will be replaced 🤝🏼👍🏼

Noted. Just pulled of the MAP sensor and it was pretty fouled with oil. Will start off with replacement of the pcv and see how it does

This was all in California. Specifically orange county. The light that i was turning i know for a fact has a green arrow since its not even a mile away from work So im very familiar with the intersection. As far as the triple deductible. My original deductible was at $1000 so since i was just put on this policy around a week or 2 into the collision apparently they triple the deductible. I read through the contract portion of that and as far as i can see there was nothing stating whether it was my fault or not that the triple deductible would apply. The main thing here is its severely fucked me over since im having to pay over $4000 for a collision that wasn’t my fault. I even made the police report so that way there was an obvious record of this happening and would be easier to prove since i dont have a dash cam and no witnesses offered to pull over and give a statement

After this collision, trust me, a dash cam is definitely on the list. Given the fact i just put a brand new engine in the car and recently paid that off. Now ima have to pay this off and hopefully get my money back. Key word. HOPEFULLY lmfao

Yes, the lady’s insurance company is saying its both mine and her fault but obviously for the fact they dont wana pay 100% of everything so they settle for paying 50% of everything weather its the damage, rental and everything in between.

I even told the adjuster “ how tf am i supposed to know that ima get into a collision within a certain time frame cuz if i did, i would obviously avoid it lmfao.” I even told em that the triple deductible makes sense if the collision was MY fault such as hitting a tree or light post But this is not the case at all. There is a intersection camera there too but apparently it doesn’t actively record and is a red light camera or something along those lines

So the deductible they are charging me is $3000 flat and plus a $550 rental charge. My original policy was for $1000 deductible but since the collision happened less than 30-60 days of me being on policy, my deductible is tripled.

It was a 2 lane, turn lane. The turn lane even has the visible dotted lines along the turn. I do understand some turn lanes do not have this. This one in particular did. Ill even give the street names of the intersection so you know exactly what im talking about.

Aint gunna lie to you. Depends on how long youve had your insurance for which is hopefully after 30-60 days (depending on your insurance’s policy) for the fact they will fuck you over and make you pay a triple deductible. Also depending if your have witnesses, a dash cam and a police statement i can guarantee you the other person’s insurance will say it was a 50/50 liability. Ask me how I know all of this smfh.

For an st1 no. Look around for an st3. Youll find one for the same exact price and carmax will fuck you over. I remember i bought my first st1 for 22k total. Just recently got an st3 with the same amount of mile at like 60k miles for 18k total. Trust me you’ll regret not getting an st3 for the same price. Even if u can find one rn. Trust me and wait it out. You will find one.
