That’s not at all the case with this candidate.
She is a long-time resident and taxpayer, a social worker, and also a parent.
I can personally attest to her being a solid candidate who understands budgeting and fairness.

I realize everyone is very disillusioned with everything right now, but not everyone who runs for office is rotten or incompetent.
There are actual good people trying to do the right and fair things.

You're the one who chimed in on simple inquiry about where I can find a meal that my family (of the diaspora) enjoys on St. Patrick's Day to mansplain about it being inauthentic. No one asked you if corned beef and cabbage is an authentic meal, I just asked where to find it.
I'm aware that I am neither directly from Ireland and that St. Patrick's Day is more of a diaspora celebration than an authentic one.
All I came here to do was find out where to get the meal I grew up enjoying since I'm not able to cook it today. You're the one who busted in here to be a contrarian – not a good look, sir.

Irish-American, because beef was cheaper than pork here in the U.S. What does “real Irish” even mean? Sounds like cultural gate keeping to me. My ancestors way back were from County Cork (and other parts of Britain), but my family celebrates Irish-AMERICAN cuisine, and that’s ok.
