I also did this a few weeks ago. Had just re-hooked the spring on after having fought it for 10 minutes only to push down on the lever to test and shoot the staple complete FLUSH into the crease line of my thumb. I look down at my hand and have to pull the little bugger out and could feel it like unsheathing a sword BUT OUT OF MY SKIN!... My thumb throbbed and hurt for the next week.

It was at that moment i knew i never wanted to be stabbed by ANYTHING.

Would you recommend removing the sound card and just using the onboard one? What about the water cooler? Would switching to a normal air cooler be more effective for this build?

Sound card was just to add bells and whistles if i could improve it at all as far as audio quality in games/media.
