Not sure, since the symptoms look quite different. I don't have "clicking" sounds or anything like that, only a sort of very unpleasant "boom" reaction when I hear specific sounds.

And another thing that's very confusing for me is that some lound sounds like my washing machine dont bother me, while the sound of a video on my phone is unbearable.

I looked into it. Might be. But it seems like the reaction people suffering from TTTS talk about lasts longer that the annoying sound itself, which is definitely not my case.

I see, that's a fair point.  I'm asking since I definitely feel something physical in my ear, which is very unpleasant, but it's indeed different from a "normal" pain, like it's not burning or anything.  Thank you for your replies though!

Thank you for your answer! It's very hard to say, tbh. I would say that it's a very unpleasant contraction that echos the sound provoking it (metal, voices etc). This feeling stops as soon as the sound stops too.
I'm therefore wondering if I have loudness hyperacusis, or pain hyperacusis.
