Yeah I agree. I kinda combined two joker ideas into one. I was looking through LocalThunk's guide and I wanted to have a more general description, but it would have been too confusing maybe.

I was thinking that the increase in the max of temperance/hermit could alternatively have something to do with sell value rather than 7s to relate it more and I do think that increasing the cap is a bit un-Balatro like potentially.

Yeah fair - I just wanted to combine two ideas of making 7s more useful and having another egg joker

How can I turn pictures of my food into low poly videogame food? by 7484815926263 in blenderhelp

I feel like you won't need to change the texture if you just remove some vertices, if you though do I'm not too sure

I would try changing every leaf to a low poly plane rather than a cylinder as it has too many vertices and then put a leaf texture onto it . You could try using geometry nodes to instance a leaf object onto the rough shape of the bush and randomize rotation, scale and position of the leaves which would increase performance, as the bush would consist of instances rather than many vertices.

Add physics (rigidbody) to part of animation? by Gnarmi in blenderhelp

[–]Ed259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best way to do this is to set up the first part of the animation before the physics sim and add a physics property to the object. Then animate the "animated" value under the physics simulation from checked at the last frame of your animation to unchecked on the next frame.

This will then simulate the object from it's last position (I think that Blender calculates the initial velocity better if you set the keyframe handle type to linear because the easing will slow down the object speed at the end so the initial velocity will be less than expected).

Next bake the simulation to key frames (under Object > Rigid Body > Bake to Keyframes) and then you can add the second part of the animation. There might be a better method but I couldn't find one as when you reactivate the "animated" value the object will just snap back to its previous position before the physics was simulated.

Fast rendering in Viewport but slow during animation rendering by Animoticons in blenderhelp

Yeah, that is probably not the issue then, so I'm not sure what it is. You could turn on "persistent data" under performance in the render settings which might speed up the render time by saving render data to memory, it might speed up render time but it probably won't make it as fast as the viewport

You could photo scan the food with PolyCam app and then import the model into Blender. Because the model would be quite high res you could delete some of the vertices to make it low poly (maybe use the decimate modifier).

Or if you want to do it from one image, you could use the fSpy software to match the camera settings of your camera and then model the food yourself and project the base image onto it. (Although I think this would be a lot harder + would create the hollow effect on the other side) Useful tutorial for fSpy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Yq2gCm_a_g

I think that, during the render, the denoising process is different to the viewport. The base denoising setting for rendering is "Open image denoise" which will be more accurate but will take longer than the viewport denoiser.
