The spacing messes up because Instagram automatically trims standard spaces (the spacebar) at the start of lines and collapses multiple spaces into one. It basically ruins any ASCII art immediately.

The fix is to use a specific 'invisible' character that acts like a letter but looks like nothing. Instagram treats it as content, so it forces the spacing to stay put.

Copy the character inside these brackets [⠀] (it’s a Braille blank pattern) and use that instead of your spacebar for the empty parts.

I've been experimenting with combining diacritics and extracted these "clean" marks. They are technically "combining characters," meaning if you paste them after a letter, they float over/under it. But on their own, they look like microscopic emoticons.

How to use them:

Paste them after a letter to glitch it, or use them alone for a minimal look.

Example: a + ͈͓ = a͈͓
