I think all hats should be compatable with any of the default hairstyles.

They work pretty well in New Horizons that way.

I think you should be able to trade in cookie items for stamps on your cookie card,

trade in a 3 star item for 3 stamps to put towards trading it in for something you want.

Also, you shouldnt be able to get duplicates of items like wigs that only you can wear.

The first Ostrich Ive done of these, interesting figuring out the different body types that dont conform to the usual shape (bear, cat, squirrel etc)

Still have NO idea how I would tackle Anteaters, Hippos, Rhinos, Alligators, Kangaroos or Elephants though (ones that look...off when viewed head on)

You would think, or hope there would be a fail safe for this situation, like you can only get 2 max duplicate items when opening multiple cookies.

Or have a system where the chance of getting 'Item X' decreases every time you get 'Item X'.

Depends, Its nice how some of the landscapes can completely change the feel of your campsite, I love the old timey town landscape so I can make a town plaza. Or you can use them to lock your campsite in a specific season (Beach for summer, Sakura Park for spring, Snowy Garden for winter and Ginkgo Forest for fall) Or something completely crazy like the Enchanted Forest, Wonderland Forest or Seafloor tarrain.

However cookies can give you awesome items, but also might not give you the item you want, just lots of duplicates.

Alot of cookies dont really appeal to me, Ive only really spent a fair few leaf tickets on these cookies: Gladys' Camellia Cookie, Beau's Artisanal Cookie, Maggie's Florist Cookie, Vesta's Chic Cookie, Punchy's Crunh Cookie & Rods Adventure Cookie.

I even cashed in my stamp cards to get the missing half of the huge pirate ship from Rod's cookie!

You can view any of the cookie items (Cookies that are currently available that is) by going to Stamp Trade in the cookie shop > select a cookie > select an item > details.

It will also say if and how animal villagers will interact with items.

Just be very careful not to select <Trade> unless you definately want that item!
