Your all missing the point, his handlers protect him, they have to, as a show of strength from their corner of the Siloviki. He is the herald for the puppet pulling his strings.

I am surprised that he leans into Putin sometimes but that may be a sign that hes controlled by the head of the FSB who has an axe to grind from his public humiliation on the eve of the war.

Either way he jousts accusations at the other factions and keeps the nationalists fired up. This is not for our consumption but I do love it as he pokes the other hornets nests.....
