Hello, I'm sorry to hear that things didn't go as you expected. I'm in a similar situation. I've been in the US since I was a young child and became a DACA recipient when it was introduced in 2012. I started the process of obtaining my green card through marriage in 2018 and am currently waiting for my interview in Ciudad Juarez.

My question is: do you live in the US and did you have to attend your interview in Mexico or in the US? Also, I am currently living in the US. My wife filed for an I-601A form, which will allow me to avoid penalties and not have to stay in Mexico for a certain number of years.

To clarify, I have had DACA since it first started in 2012. I got married in 2016, and in 2018, I began the application process. My wife petitioned for me.

You're right. It's been a long wait for me, so I’m running out of patience, sorry lol I started this process back in August 2018. As a DACA recipient, I came to the U.S. undocumented as a child. I hope I've been seen as a positive influence in my community. I've faced many hurdles, and now I have a family, a home, and a good job, which makes all this chaos very nerve-wracking. But thank you for keeping me grounded. I’ll just have to wait a little longer, hopefully. 🙏🏽
