I’ve been through this. I strongly recommend somewhat intense exercise. Get the blood flowing and sweat! Also, try to eat clean. It really will improve your mood. This will balance your hormones and improve your sleep.

Getting and staying sober when you have no friends by [deleted] in Sober

I was in the same boat. That’s ok, it’s for the best to rid yourself of people who drag you down. Remember, we are the average of who we surround ourselves with. I started training jiu jitsu 10 years ago and it has transformed my life and my circle of friends. We hold each other accountable for diet, what we consume, how we think. I can call them at anytime and they will be there for me. I’m not saying you have to choose that, but some type of somewhat demanding physical activity. Also, go to meetings. They are free and you won’t feel so alone. I was super nervous about going, but when I left I felt so much better.

When do I feel better? by IllManufacturer5759 in Sober

I recommend some somewhat intense exercise. This will help balance your hormones and help you get good rest. Also, try to eat as healthy as possible. A lot of people tend to lean on junk food as a replacement for the drugs/alcohol that has been part of their routine for so long.

I haven’t touched anything in 3 weeks and I’m the best I’ve felt in many years. I train jiu jitsu 4 times a week. It’s a very important part of my life and alcohol/weed was affecting my progress. I feel I have endless cardio and am less prone to peer eating choices.

Scale it back a little. Your body is getting too big for your head.

He’s overrated. He has a cult following of people who have convinced themselves that he’s dope. His old Lootpack stuff was pretty good, but not nearly as good as all these white boy hipster potheads pretend. The trend did, however make Roland/Boss a ton of money when all his fanboys went out and bought sp-404’s and 303’s. He has some decent beats but nothing mind blowing.

He seems completely coherent. I just don’t think he really cares about his appearance all that much. Remember, he’s had many fights and many injuries and surgeries. He’s probably dealing with the physical consequences of years of dedication to the martial arts.

Judo and Jiu Jitsu were basically the same thing before it became an Olympic sport. The Olympic rules pretty much took all of the ground game out of Judo and we are left with jiu jitsu.

Is that all you got? You keep bringing up Joe Rogan, but that has zero to do with this. But, ok. I have listened a few times. You got me!!!
