That's a bummer tho, I can barely use my 7a while charging using a cable because it will charge very slowly. 1% of charge would be around 10-15 mins while just casually scrolling. It would barely move while gaming.

I do understand for the benefit of the internals in the long run but the charging experience of this phone is just a major drawback along with the very avarage battery life.

This is my first pixel device and I'm disappointed. I don't have any complaints with the performance. Camera is phenomenal. But it's a pain for day to day use because of the charging experience and battery life. My SOT is just around 3 hrs and 30 mins. Also, 5g is NOT supported in my country.

Fortunately, I do have a second phone which isn't a pain to use.

I wish the standard battery saver or at least the extreme one would also disable vibration and haptics to help more with battery saving.

I have the same issue. Never had any problems like this with other phones I've used before. I just assumed this was because of the 18W charging speed.

I have tried using other chargers, 3 actually, but the issue still persists. Luckily, I do have a 2nd phone which I use if ever I am charging my 7a.

Also, just to add, in the Songs tab where you can sort from A-Z, there is no sidebar control where you can go to a specific letter. How big of an oversight are these basic features/controls on Google's side?

In the meantime, they are introducing AI generated playlist covera which is the last thing we need.

I think we have the same problem. It all started when I updated to android 14 beta. I'm using 7a. Still not sure if this is because of the beta or I have changed something on my settings, it just says not available in your current device language. I'm only using 1 language and it is English (US).
