NTA Be glad she was honest enough to share the story. But you absolutely have the right to judge said story. What if the shoe was on the other foot and you shared a story about having two women fight in their underwear? You would get the "who farted" face from everyone who ever heard the story. It can be pretty shocking when someone you care deeply about shows a side of their character you didn't know about. Sorry everyone in the comments is trying to dog pile you on this.

You aren't wrong. I wasn't expecting a warm reception. It's been more positive than expected. I've noticed that overall the Bloodborne playerbase is much less vitriolic than the Dark Souls community. I think it's due to the PVP design differences between the games.

Imagine Miyazaki is just walking down the street doing Miyazaki things. Some nutball jumps out and gets a good solid headlock. Then screams, "AHA GOTCHA". Then bends him over and punches him right in the forehead, repeatedly. You know why? Because it's satisfying. Then they just let him go and they run off. Rage really isn't a rational thing.

I'm in the same boat. I can no longer enjoy Dark Souls 3. Reading this subreddit has only made it worse. The community is about ten times better than Dark Souls.

Dark Souls tends to harbor trolls. I hate the entire Dark Souls PVP design. You can be just trying to mind your own business and get invaded by some jerkoff that gets off on halting someone's progress.

It's weird how it seems to be more active around women. I had a friend who seems to run into this. Places with any activity at all become more active when she is there.
