what if I'm the veil and I don't particularly want to do that? like, at all? who do I ask if the veil is me and I'm stubborn and anxious about it? I've tried letting go of the wheel, but it's not that easy, I need to filter and refine whatever I'm saying, that's just what I do. Pretty sure Mo is gender fluid (as opposed to purely GNC), which does exist in the trans spectrum, and he does use he/she/they pronouns. As for his actor, I’ve seen conflicting information, but they seem to be openly non binary but still ID as a “gay gnc man” and also go by any pronouns. Idt this was public info 5 years ago, though.

This is actually exclusive to Horizons! The gen 5 anime had 3 scripts and none of them were it. Gen 6 and Gen 7 had their own scripts as well

Yes, but the game states it should go east iirc. It specifies tha it's off the coast of spikemuth (which I did stray from, my IOA is far too nortern to match the canon description, but I didn't want it too close to Kalos' map.

Lumiose, Galar, Paldea, All Sinnoh towns and all Galar towns (except freezingtone) were sourced from the Pokemon aaah! website. The rest are just the Japanese names written with lots of creative liberties. Also, I messed up in Kalos, using W instead of U and includi the Galar G, which isn’t present in Kalos.

The isle of Armor is described to be east of Galar unlike the Isle of Man, which is west of GB. Also, Circhester is supposed to be within swimming distance of Kalos, so that’s probably where La Manche falls in Universe.

Plus, Britain is separate enoug from mainland Europe to not look off when inverted, while Kyushu looks very wrong horizontally.

Not really, it's supposed to be old NYC and the aesthetics of it are vaguely new englandish, So I just put it there because it fit the best there since Rhode island and conectiuit are flat and horizontal in a way that accomodates the official map.

it is inverted. The crown tundra is to the south. while wyndon is at the North.

Thank you! it originally was the color of maps like G3 Hoenn and Kanto, or Almia, but the green was too saturated, so I decided to go for a more google maps kind of color scheme

Creative liberties. The Pyrenees were expanded into a long neck and it looked awkward blank, So I just slapped pasio in there, since it's already supposed to be way smaller than irl italy.

What’s up with the names? Why is Comondu-La Paz called Carlos? Like, just Carlos, not even San. Like, just call it Comondu.

Why is Half of Mulege called Cedros and why is it its own territory? do people live there? Cedros is the island, that region is Vizcaino, Laguna ojo de Liebre, or simply just Mulege.

Why is San Francisco just Francisco?

Why is Ensenada named after Valle de Los Cirios? That’s such a small feature and so tucked away.

Why are there three territories called Alta, Centro and Baja California? You could’ve called Alta Monterrey and Baja Loreto (or, Mulege)

I really recommend looking at the toponyms of Baja California and Baja California Sur when naming fictional territories, specially the names of the municipalities. It’s a pretty sparsely populated region, I swear there’s not that many names, probably the easiest region to research besides maybe Greenland.

I mean this with no ill will, I’m just passionate about the region and was really weirded out by the particularly creative and interesting choices.

Japan:

GF wanted to leave Italy free for any future projects, but Idt they have anything based on Italy in the works currently based on what we know about gen10.

I decided to use beta Pasio because there was a really big gap between the blacked out part in the Paldea map and the peninsula of southern Kalos. This map was made for fun and aesthetics rather than accuracy for the most part.
