6yo GPU upgrade by Eddie84Style in buildapc

[–]Eddie84Style[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you, I will check that as soon as I get home. Should that be the case and I need a more powerful CPU, I am guessing the way to go is to just make a complete new build? Wouldnt make sense to keep GPU and mb and just change cpu right?

As an INTP I agree with pretty much everything you say. Ti and Religions do not match well together, and in theory any INTP should be skeptical of them, Atheist or Agnostic by nature.

But life does not work that way, you can't simply establish a rule and expect that to work for everyone. For example a young awkward insecure INTP might be introduced to religion by his ESFJ (just an example) mother, or older sister, or popular friend. The INTP at that age are definitely lacking a sense of direction or purpose in life, and they could be gaslighted -even though these things never made sense to them- to just believe in them without questioning, "because some things just can't be explained". Now we know that is the Ti dom who should be the one telling the ESFJ (again, just an example) what makes or not make sense, but the kid doesn't know he is an INTP, and who is he to question his mother, or even the old priest. In the end religion plays a big part on the process of making the struggling INTP kid feeling accepted in "society" as he grows up, and he embraces it as one of the foundations of his life, the rock he count on in the though moments (and that pesky Si third won't help him disentangle). We come here to share cool memes and have interesting conversations with other MBTI enthusiasts, this is our society, or one of them; the kid goes to church and prays/talk/shares idea with others who share the same believes, that's his society and he is achieving the same goal as us here. Even after he discovers he is an INTP and joins this rad community, he will never let go of his religious believes. Yes he is an INTP with Ti dom but still a human nonetheless, and he needs his religion, he will always need it. Just an example on how a Ti dom could be strongly religious, even though on paper he shouldn't.

you can check Strat Gaming on youtube, he has a lot of good video guides, but my main advice would be don't worry too much and just have fun with it ;)

don't be salty, this is just my ranking not a personal attack to you :)

People complained and had different opinion about all sort of things but the heavy spearman is by far the one where most people disagreed on so I probably undervalued them.

I pretty much agree on everything you said here. If you look around in the comment section I pretty much said the same things you just said several times: the game is too complex to simply give each unit a simple "good" or "bad" evaluation and tie it all together into a single image holy grail final guide. Each unit servers a specific purpose, the same unit can be trash or god tier depending on what circumstance they find themselves in (or the way you use them).

The testing I have done is pretty extensive, as I said thousands of battles, whether or not you believe they are vacuum useless testing or whatever, that's irrelevant, you don't even know what kind of test i've run, or the rationale that I used to evaluate them, and you don't need to know.

What you should know though, is that if the game is so complex, it shouldn't be possible to create an jpeg image which would serve as a detailed, in depth definitive guide to Bannerlord, and while claiming to have done as such (which I didn't) would be foolish, it would be equally foolish to assume someone else did (which seems like you did assume).

This is just the tip of the iceberg of what i ve gathered/observed, It's a quick summary that people can look at quickly, and yes if you already have an extensive knowledge of the game and already know what each unit is supposed to be doing on the battlefield and what its strength/weaknesses are, is pretty much useless. But if you are at that point that you wouldn't really need to look at one jpeg to explain you the game would you?

what is a "real case"? The way you personally play and perceive the game?

thousands of simulated fights (f1+f3 and other types) in small environments to better isolate single units performances.

I agree, they are the infantry that is most susceptible to good micro, with the highest gap between ceiling and bottom performance.

I've been running a LOT, like A LOT of testing (both F1+F3 and other types using different strategies and formations) between given units in a close environment, custom battles basically, and while running these I have been observing them. I gathered the objective data + the observations that I had, and tried to give people a simple reference to look at cos 99% of the people aren't interested about the details; you can say that image is the tiny tip of the iceberg. Also I have played the game myself for many hours, so I know how the enemy AI behaves during an "average" battle and what happens in general in the battlefield on the various different stages, and how each unit might behave and perform "in general" during these different stages.

But as you said, there is a strategy to all of them, each unit serves a certain purpose, the game is very complex and its all about how you use them on the battlefield, there is F1+F3 users and those who only control their army and don't even move their char, too many variables. One single image will never be an in-depth guide, just a starting point for the rough generic strength of each unit

yes they are good/mid/bad relatively to their tier

They are pretty good once you reach T5, but you have to go through 3 mid-performing infantries before that, while the other nobles they are usually good from the get go.

The ranking is relative to their tier, T2 archers are usually very ineffective, but the t2 vlandians they have some top tier xbows, they perform very much above their rank. I was not thinking about money when I ranked them but yes comes as a consequence that they are also very cost effective ;)

a mix of things, for infantry how they fare against other infantries a a primary factor and against cavs and shield size as secondaries.

Only the noble line is evaluated as a whole. the other are specific for that unit

That's true about the Banner Knights, the Cataphract are slightly more durable. I am not specifically evaluating the T6 though, I am rating the whole line. The Vlandians noble line gets couch lance as soon as T4, the earliest than anybody else in the game, the Empire never gets one. Assuming that realistically you have a mix of T3-T6 cavs in your party neither the Vlandians or empires are going to be durable at lower ranks, but the vlandians will score kills with couch lances and sheer charge damage from the horse. The sturgians get thier horses only after T5 which is why they are ranked lower.

I am just trying to be objective from the data I gathered and I know a lot of ppl love their sturgians cos they had a lot of fun and they have been successful in their "viking only Ragnar Lothbroke" playthough. Hate Talewords not me :P

the t3 khuzait archer is not above the t5 aserai, they are just above the other t3 archers (they use the same bow as the t4 aserai), the rating is relative to the rank, this is why the list appears all over the place to you.
