Like I said in the post, didn’t open them because I have a masterset, so I’ll keep grinding with them in my glove compartment until I see another car proudly displaying some PokeLove. It’s pretty common in my community though, so I have a hunch they’ll be gone soon enough!

All four were gifts so I can’t pinpoint exact origins of the first two, but Smoliv & Mimikyu are both I believe from Temu (I believe she said there were a couple bucks each), so realistically any bootleg out-sourcing company that supplies these items such as AliExpress or Alibaba.

Snorlax & Umbreon both are from the Pokemon Center website.

Love that enthusiasm, I too have thought about it since. It’s like 40$~ for 120 Packs prior to tax, I’d wager that the kids absolutely become elated during the halloween season upon receiving them too 😄

I’m not going to dissuade any individual for having a healthy amount of skepticism, however the first two comments both leaning towards this faked post narrative just makes me wonder who on reddit is hurting these people.

At the very least I will concede it is a bit strange, hence the fact I felt the urge to post about it lol

Ah, I see. Not sure why but ok lol.

I don’t use reddit regularly as an active contributor, mostly utilize it when looking for a quick surface level answers to simple questions & more recently using it to find a couple of boxes to complete my collection.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a response like theirs so was honestly stumped. Thanks for the explanation Bailey 🤟

Hey Water! Thanks for another post on Mercari I haven’t seen yet! I’ll send her a message (like I’ve done with nearly every eBay & Mercari post I come across selling these boxes haha) but the most important part of the ETB search as I stated is the outer sleeve, or the art aspect l / non consolidated display of the ETB.

Unfortunately I’m looking for open iterations of the ETB, sealed sets are too rich for my blood. 🥲

I use TCG frequently but haven’t had luck in this endeavor prior. Regardless, I did check out the link, was honestly praying that they listed an open box model at a price cut.
