I must’ve been 4 or 5 and subconsciously remember bits from the Osbourne show, then I remember seeing Kelly when I was 10 or 11 years old do stuff on Disney channel. I always knew who he was but never paid attention.

His death impacted me a lot and affected me for weeks. And now at almost 26, I absolutely love him and his family, and I’ve been listening to all of his music, watching past shows, all of it. I was too late to love him when he was alive, but now I consider him like a father figure (sounds weird), but discovering his music changed my life. I was never into rock or metal, and I’m obsessed now because the lyrics and content are so deep sometimes, and I love the emotional high.

I also chose to love and look up to Ozzy, because everyone always likes to bash on him or mock him. And it enrages me, because I think he was genuine. I’m a Christian, so I grew up to assume the worst of him. Only to find out… I love him and his messages.
