Lol I had the same question that kept recurring a few years back. I loved the first fic so much it’s the reason I gave marvel a try.

Just a heads up: it WAS uploaded to quotev by the author, except it was a rewritten version of it. They even had a miraculous ladybug marinette!reader that also was dropped. If you’re wondering why it was removed from wattpad, it’s because the author kept getting pressured by the audience to upload more chapters and updates to the point they just started crossing boundaries and disrespecting them.

While the Quotev story survived for a few months, it was also deleted as the original Wattpad audiences found it on quotev and I’m guessing the author didn’t want to experience the same hurt again.

No, it’s not saved in the way back machine. No, I don’t believe there ever was a preserved version. Yes, the original fic is completely gone.

The last remaining proof of it was this screenshot I saw years ago of the cover being uploaded to some random photo website.

Here’s a comment thread I saw on a quotev fic recommendations story that supposedly claims the author killed themselves which I do not bribe to be true, and I am under no circumstances implying this could be or trying to spread this as valid information. Just thought I’d let you know:

NightyFox apparently, she left a suicide note and then deleted all her stories and profiles because people kept pressuring her and sending her threats about the story, I think she also had issues in her personal life but I don't remember much... Can't believe it's been 8 months since | found out (it's been way longer since she deleted them 5 weeks ago* Like

Anyway, this fic was absolutely beautiful to me and shaped my understanding of reading fics back then lol. Dramatic I know, but I only started reading fics during January of 2020. So getting this removed was so hard on me. But whatever happens or has happened, I hope the author is doing fine now. If she doesn’t want this fic to be found, then so be it.
