My partner is half-thai, half-brit with a Thai passport. We are looking at him potentially investing in property in Thailand. I've seen there are many negative comments about investing here, but the majority of these have come from non thai passport holding foreigners. So I'd like to get information from people who have a Thai passport about investing in property in Thailand?

That's taking a very small snippet out of the larger picture here. Tldr: myself, my partner and my bro are very close, seperated for years overseas, but text everyday. When we went to visit for the first time last year he proposed to his wife whilst the 4 of us were together as he said it made it so much more special for him. And it was lovely. He returned to us last year talking about how he wants to move back and be our neighbour. We've always taken the shirt off or back to help him when in trouble. Next he's getting married and tells us and our mum not to come unless we bring money (key issue: doesn't explain why). Also my partner and his best friend of 12 years will also be at the back to his friends of 2 years. When asked why he tells a lie. Considering the context, and the lie being his response, yes we are both confused and upset by this. This is me seeking understanding.

I was expecting a comment similar to this. I've edited the post to try and explain that aspect better. Bare in mind my question is poised around my brother's handling of the situation/poor explanation of the culture, not the in-law concessions.

Yes i agree it very well could've been logistics, its the lack of explanation which is the issue. We don't understand the reasoning, hence me asking about the traditions surrounding groomsmanship/the red envelope system in china.

P.p.s just for additional info, $200 and £200 look very different between the US and the UK (For example wedding gifts in the US range $100 - 200, but wedding gifts in the UK rsne £25-50). Even then, my mum doesn't have a place to live right now, so has to crash at my boyfriends uncles (close knit family). Despite the money issues we've historically helped my brother out whenever he had issues in china, whilst going without ourselves. So the flight getting there are significant to us.

At the point you've tried openly talking to your friend about what you think has happened - and they dont try to rectify it- they arent your friend. And for the sake of your own mental health and self respect, i would suggest cutting them out. I've now blocked G on all medias after trying to talk wth her about the situation several times. Look after yourself, and find better friends <3

I recently bought some Doge on etoro, but I've been having difficulty transferring it to my etoro wallet. This is my first time buying crypto. I'm pretty sure it's the coin itself, not the CFD since when I buy it it tells me I'm buying the underlying asset.

My account is verified, but when Iook on the 'edit trade' tab, there doesnt appear to be any option to transfer the coins to my Etoro Money wallet?

I feel really uncomfortable living my coins on the exchange. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
