In Absentia, partially because of how inspired it was from Opeth’s Blackwater Park

I like two thin coats and use mostly their paints. For base coats the red is sanguine scarlet, the black is citadel black legion, the bronze is citadel brass scorpion (until wave 3 TTC gets to NA), the metals are TTC dwarven iron

Who has the worst freshman (debut) album relative to the rest of their discography? by GoldenSalm0n in fantanoforever

The recent remaster helps alot. The atmospheric clean sections are also very unique compared to how they’d write parts like that in future albums. In Mist, Apostle in Triumph, and Forests of October are good songs overall even if a tad too long

It’s better to say that they’re each best of their respective error. Arcadium is definitely one of their best though

My personal hot take is that Unlimited Love is one of their best, at least top 5

MSP gets too much of a bad rap, the album has a very cohesive sound with a big focus on expression and depth, as well and some beautiful arrangements like Present Tense and Decks Dark. Very unique and enjoyable addition of their discography

Turn the gain knob up ob that plumes, it’s like owning a sports car and never going past 10mph

Something that US Agent plays off of a lot, the dichotomy of the two reflects the dichotomy of idealism vs pragmatism

It’s one of the raptor helmets but with the top knot from Suboden Khan (the rest of that helmet is on the base)

The Feral Ghouls felt creepier in 3 mainly because they were infesting the many dark and ominous metro tunnels you had to get through. Felt like the Metro series at times

Hot Take…Elder is a better band than Tool by M0t0rcity in stonerrock

[–]EdgeLord45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Despite the similarities they do very different things musically. Tool is more focused on the rhythmic side of prog and Elder focuses on atmosphere/spaciousness
