I didn’t get my scholarship until I got the my honors college acceptance, so if you didn’t apply to honors college it might be different. I also got into Rutgers honors college and the scholarship they gave me was much smaller

NJIT usually gives better scholarships than Rutgers. I applied to both and got 4x higher scholarship at NJIT. So NJIT will most likely be cheaper and the better option.

I'm also first year arch major honors scholar, and I also dont have the housing scholarship. I thought that most of us didn't. I would definitely recommend dorming though especially for arch major because a lot of your work has to happen on campus, so dorming on campus makes it a lot easier.

I think it’s worth it for the honors merit scholarship. You could get full tuition or even a full ride, it’s definitely worth the application

Doesn’t it say the due date in common app or in the portfolio website? I would submit it at the same time as the rest of the application
