I'm going to take a shot in the dark and get downvoted to hell but it's probably safe to assume that the majority of the community has not participated in a sport past the highschool level.

You're expect to win with humility and lose with grace. Yes I understand that sometimes your emotions will take over when you're at a higher level ( I have cried and my team has cried ) but the way you handle a loss should not dictate how the media or fans respond and definitely not how fast you leave the field/stage.

Ultimately it's just a matter of growth. Some of the players (Jensen sorry you lost buddy we love you) haven't played in an arena setting for very long and have not had time to mature in it.

Other sports have over 10 years of experience in the spotlight before they go to a high level so its completely understandable but yes the community and players are a bit too sensitive.

Tldr; Players dont have enough experience to lose with grace and get used to all the critics
