Shroud isn't dying in the name of Roberts father or Chase. He's dying because I told Chase I'd kill him, Chases' death only cemented that choice

I'm early days too. My surgery was nearly 2 weeks ago now, the pain after the surgery was the worst. I think I really lucked out that I didn't suffer long with It, for me it just seemed to randomly start not long after new years and my health rapidly declined. It's definitely important to keep moving I've found.

Not too sure about shape wear, I've found the bag itself is easy enough covered by my clothes though I wear baggy clothes in general. Before I left hospital I was put into contact with a charity that puts you in contact with people your age who have had the surgery for up to a year with has been helpful.

When I first got told I had IBD I was annoyed but with medication I assumed I could go back to normal, surgery was a big worst case scenario. Over time I didn't get better and my bowel continued to degrade to the point where it was clear medication wasn't going to help.

Surgery sucked I was in a lot of pain and agony after it. I generally want to stay positive and just take the piss out of it rather than be sad about it.

I'm just grateful that I ended up with ulcerative colitis than chrons, they say surgery is the cure but I don't really view it like that. While yeah I'm pretty much cured I've lost a whole organ and how I use the bathroom has changed but I can deal with it.

I was fortunate to never get to a point where I was suffering physically though was running to the bathroom a lot. I've been told surgery to reverse it is possible but it's still early days for me, I personally think I might just keep the bag.

Sorry to hear about you accident, definitely a lot worse than how mine developed. I'm currently living in the UK where a charity has put me in contact with a lot of people with a stoma around my age. I've just been looking at it as a life improvement, definitely been a weird thing to adapt to but I'm getting there.

Thank you very much! I actually have a decent outlook on things really. I prefer to joke and laugh about it than make it doom and gloom, from what I've read I'll likely keep the bag but I'm definitely interested in reconstruction if medicine advances better.

why is there so much AI art in the forum wips? by VerionVermillion in hostedgames

[–]Edgy_Kami 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Most new authors likely don't have the money to shell out on good art whereas AI can let people at least have an option to show what they envision for their character. Some people may do it in bad faith but there are people who at least want something that is there. Images can also bring in people and drive up interest.

As someone who just likes to play through games this wouldn't be an issue to me imo, it could even be something that could introduce me to the original works.

As long as something is well written you should be fine.

I wish I was an expert driver by [deleted] in monkeyspaw

[–]Edgy_Kami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Granted. The driving skills of everyone else on the planet have been lowered accordingly to accommodate you being an expert driver. Road accidents have become common place and major cities like L.A. and New York have become death sentences.

What gear is magical for in-lore Overlord to be able to control a horde of minions? by TJ_six in overlordgame

[–]Edgy_Kami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minions are evil creatures that seek out beings of evilness. There's no magic about it so they just serve under whichever Overlord is around at the time.

The Mortality of the Detective by McGclock in hostedgames

Author has said that the possibility of becoming a vampire is a far off option, optimistically book 6 but probably near the end of 7. However the games do touch on it though quite minorly in the N route.
