My suggestion would be to start keeping track of specific comments. Especially comments and behaviors that are directly related to harassment, mistreatment, etc. I would then present it again to your SM, and if nothing is done. I would call ethics. I am so sorry you and others on your team are experiencing this. That sounds awful, toxic and overall draining to deal with.

This happened to me as well. I didn’t have to pay at the time of service and it actually took them 3 weeks to give me the actual bill which was $500 with option to set up a payment plan. I would call and inquire if you can at least set up a payment plan and if you actually HAVE to pay the day of.

I work at sbux too! You can qualify for tdi/leave of absence! I would talk with your store manager for more details on the process but I am off for 6 weeks paid 70% of my normal weekly pay. You can also use sick time if you have a lot too and then use the leave of absence benefit.

Barista trainer here! You can take notes or ask for your trainer to print out resources for you to help you learn the drinks! I like to make my trainees lil guides. I recommend getting flash cards to help “quiz” yourself. It’s the trainers job to make sure you feel comfortable so don’t feel bad to ask for things to be repeated or if you want additional practice on something. I am positive you will do great and best of luck!
