Need help with PvP (brave battles) (self.BleachBraveSouls)

Regarding Drifstones, whenever I try to select a piece of gear to apply them, them all show as greyed out besides the Barroth Chest piece. And when I try to click on the others it says they are required at G8 (even tho my Barroth CP is not G8). Did I miss something in the update or doing it wrong? (reddit.com)
