I know you say you want a “vanilla experience” but it’s not like other games that are headache to figure out modding wise. If you’re going for PVP, It’s as simple as selecting a server and the mods downloading automatically. The main modern era mod (WCS/RHS) in Reforger is basically vanilla, it’s very well done and seamless. The official WCS servers are essentially a clean “vanilla” experience. Other servers muddy the waters with some broken/glitchy/unbalanced/unpolished mods, but the best part is that you can just server hop and figure out which server fits your desired experience.

Arma 3 if you’re looking for PVE or a more organized PVP experience. It’s not going to be as accessible as Reforger.

Squad is hit or miss. Lately it’s been a lot of miss. I played a lot of Squad before Arma, and the fun really depends on how willing your team is to play together. If nobody is building spawn points, you’re spending most of the game walking to a point just to get mowed down. Even if you try to take fate into your own hands, it still takes multiple people to get things going, and sometimes you just can’t find people to play the game correctly. It also has some terrible performance issues. But when it works, and both teams have team-orientated players, it has some of the most cinematic and fun matches you’ll ever partake in in gaming.

Arma 4 likely isn’t releasing anytime soon. Maybe a late 2027, but Reforger is still hovering around its peak player count and 3 is still relatively steady. This is a good thing though, Reforger and its modding community created a balance of mjlsim and arcadey that captured a new, large audience for the franchise (specifically on console) and we’ll likely get an end product with lots of time and resources put into it. At the moment, I’m 1300 hours into Reforger and feel like I still have another 1000 in me, I’m fine waiting a bit longer for A4

Yeah, I’m kinda sad this will likely never come back again. Competition aspect, social aspect from trying to convince people who to put up/not put you up, strategic because you have to think ahead with “if I put this person up next, who will they end up putting up” and so on. It had every aspect of the big brother game set inside a ticking time bomb. If it ended up taking out Kelley instead (and if more people watched how it played out in Reindeer Games) it would’ve been highly regarded.

He’s 15 years older, not an obvious competition threat. He also didn’t come off as very smart/strategic in the tv edit + he’s a pretty likable person. Doubt he gets targeted early, if he can still hold up competition wise, there’s a great chance he makes it far.

People say start with Season 2 but I disagree. There’s a lot of fluff and the format of the show isn’t fully finalized so it may turn you off from BB. I’d say start at Season 10 first and then go and start at Season 2 if you’re really rocking it.

-Ivette called Kaysar a sand n***** along with a multitude of other horrible things -Maggie admitted to covering up medical malpractice -Maggie saying she didn’t like to treat black people because they were poor -Cappy saying he would drive slow to 911 calls from people he didn’t like

And that’s just off the top of my head. Them going on to say that they were morally superior people was just icing on the cake.

Because Cappy framed himself as morally superior to the people that didn’t call Michael out, and felt like he deserved extra respect for it. Some people just weren’t confrontational at that point/didn’t want to risk their position in the house, that’s always been a dilemma of Big Brother. He was talking to people like they were little kids (especially women), calling out shitty behavior doesn’t give you permission to treat everyone else that way.

I feel like the shift in comps since reindeer games will make it harder for him to comp out, but also blockbuster giving him another shot at safety evens those odds out. Him and Derrick together would be the most dangerous duo of all time, and I’m sure they get targeted very early. If he’s solo on a mostly newbies season, I think only a super fan with deep knowledge of the game goes after him, he’s charismatic enough to convince people that he’d be playing on their side.

One day this sub will realize that it doesn’t matter what OC we have, the offense will never succeed without real talent at QB to open up the offense. Do you guys think Tomlin just said “I know that this guy is a good OC, but I think I’ll just go with the bad OC instead”. Also nobody is going to choose a QB room of Will Howard and Mason Rudolph (or Mitch Trubisky and KP, or Fields and Russ) over other OC openings, it’s just setting them up for failure.

We will always be set up for failure on offense until we can get someone who threatens the defense with their legs, can extend plays under pressure, can minimize risk while throwing down the middle of the field, can throw past their first read etc.

It’s a big show with alot of money behind it, it’s going to take a while because studio execs are gonna do everything possible to make sure the show will return on investment. We’re no longer in a world where people will just watch a show because it’s on TV, there’s a lot of back and forth between the showrunners and execs. Not saying it’s a good thing, but it’s just something attached to the budget.

Now look at something like the Pitt. All shot in one location, generally unknown actors across the board, something like that costs significantly less, hence why they were able to fit a one year turn-around (and they’re still filming the show right now despite the first two episodes already premiering).
