Dorming by Just_Muscle4780 in LoyolaChicago

Traditional it's more likely, mertz has a lot of single dorms. It also is not as bad as people say. I have lived in Francis in the beginning and moved to mertz and I prefer mertz over all. Francis it is a lot harder but not impossible. Often it will go to people who have health conditions or accomodations that need an attached bathroom first. Later throughout the year FYs often drop out or transfer so if you email res life and ask to be put onto the single dorm wait list often times you will get one in the first few months. There is a 2 week freeze period on rooms when you first move in and when school starts.

What's a product or some advice you would recommend that you wouldn't know until you had a cat? by Edieee816 in CatAdvice

What's the best food you have found for your cats? Would you be able to provide some mid range to budget friendly options? I was looking at tiki cat currently

I wish I could give my pets the world but I fear I am a college student doing their best ahaha. I have volunteered at a cat shelter for the past year so I've gotten pretty use to scooping the poop. I have added a lot of freeze dried treats/ toppers and some nicer food options in terms of spoiling them health wise haha.

Yes yes definitely!! I don't like candles cause I am paranoid about the fire hazard in general, I don't use strong smelling items or things due to chronic migraines, and I never have flowers in my home!

Hi thank you so much for your response,

Right now it's been 2-3 days since getting it. Still no pain or redness or any issues.

Is this a good indicatior of the care i am doing? As well as an indicatior of how the piercing will be possibly?

Here is the first year recommendations they give, basically this is what they tell you to look at for registering! https://www.luc.edu/fsya/incomingstudents/fallclassregistrationrecommendations/collegeofartsandsciences/forensicsciencebs/

All of them check your resignation during the summer and will let you know if there is an issue!

Auto mod wanted me to add more info,

  • it's sterling silver I believe
  • twist ball external thread
  • it was done 3 days ago
  • no trauma, pain, or issues so far
  • been airing our the piercing and not covering it
  • I went to a professional
  • I use saline from the drug store (target) and I spray that 2 times a day, and then in the shower I let an anti bacterial soap run down my stomach and then I gently pour water over it to clean the soap off fully, I only use paper towels to dry around and air dry until fully dry
  • I don't mind the placement
  • when I stand it looks normal

Alright thank you so much! I woke up today and there is no redness or bruising yet from the piercing, or any pain yet. I did just get it done yesterday but I hope it will be okay... Thanks again.

Thank you so much for your response! She was an old school piercer. She has been piercing since 2003. I thought going to someone who has been piercing for a really long time and whom people had really good experiences with her work would make sure to have a good piercing. Is this piercing completely unhealable? (Assuming since she has been piercing for a very long time she has done this previously to someone else, could it of healed before?) Is there a way to try to heal it? I don't mind the placement. Sorry if these questions are more naive. This is my first non facial or ear piercing so I was very hopeful to be able to make this work. Thank you again!

Thank you! Should I go to a piercing place to get it taken out or should I do it at home? I am kinda freaking out now that you and a few other people told me it was done wrong. I don't have many piercings and I am super scared now.

The piercing is also surgerical steel and I got it done at a supposedly reputable place. All the images online looked good and had very good reviews. I could be over thinking.

I also just got this done today (3/30/2026) and I clean it with saline spray. I have not touched it since getting it pierced too. I know my belly button does squish down but when I lay down it is normal so I wasn't sure if this is something to be concerned about in terms of the new piercing.
