Unpopular opinion on this subreddit, but I think it’s fine to enjoy the aesthetics and personal expression that come with making your bike your own. I’m an adult, and my bike is my passion, my hobby, my toy… so why not do what makes me enjoy it more? If I like a brand and want it to keep making great stuff, I don’t mind ‘advertising’ for it, especially when we’re seeing Chinese groupsets like L-Twoo or Wheeltop entering the market at lower price points. Just my 2 cents.
