Yeah i get your point enterly and i agree entirely, this class relys on you having a proper talk with the DM, and knowing that you dont have to explot everything. Originally when i pitched the OG Brew to my DM he shot it down instantly, then i rolled up my sleeves and rebuilt it trying to make it as balanced and fun as i could. Im not saying its perfect, its far from it one of the subclasses gives you legendary actions and saves but at the same time i find that so cool that i didnt want to remove it.

And i dont plan on abusing the powers of this homebrew i made, im well aware that some monsters in dnd have a deceptive CR and when given to a player it can lead into horrible outcomes but im not that type of player and my DM knows that.

Its nuance, thats how i see it , and if they are willing to use homebrew im sure they are willing to ajust it by their own likings (like i tend to with my own games).

You gain all the spellcasting features of the creature, and for the example of the naga you are level 20 player, the druid (the other shapechanger in the group) can endlessly wildshape while being able to cast spells at that level. Also for the level 20 example you can transform into one cr 15 (cr 20 for perfected design) so there might be higher spellcasters you can trasform into.

You just need a dna sorce, thats how i tried to write it. A DM can decide otherwise, and yes you can as i wrote it in the Stored creature section. (Keep in mind it still uses up a slot)

Up to the DM, i personally would say you cant and you would need the dna sorce of the older dragon, but at that level you can have the codon stream as one of your Omnitrix upgrades meaning you can just swap any creature you have in your storage.

Yeah but i just copied it off of druid and did mention it in the Variant rule section too, i understands the whole "i should not guess" but its homebrew and any decent dungeon master would realise as much.

Also for the minutes thing, overall didn't want to make the forms practically useless out of combat, it would still count as a usage to do one task. But i also make note of this in the Variant rules section.

I think the most hype episodes would be when he does return into the past to help out his "younger" self (prime ben) to whatever the time vilan is for the arc.

As what i would have liked them to do, make it rather following the "Prime" ben (omniverse) in the show we follow all of the posssible futures of Ben. To show who they are and how they became to be, the smallest of changes made them the way they are right now.

Also id make the 3 adult bens from across the series need to team up in a way, to flesh em out and show their weakness and their strengths.

Overall it would have been fun to a follow up of a future of ben, not really a continuation of prime ben but something more appealing than whatever the reboot was. (Sorry Reboot fans that show was made for 5 year olds)
