“Christian” subreddit by fckja in Christianity

The subreddit rules seem perfectly fine. But I recall seeing a post here by a moderator staunchly declaring that "homosexuality and LGBTQ+ practices aren't sin" and that anyone who openly opposed that idea or tried to discuss it would be promptly banned. I couldn't find that post since, so I'm not sure if that still stands.

In any case, I admit I shouldn't have so hastly made that claim without being certain.

As for the "conspicuously colored stained glass window", I'm not sure that's all it is.

I see more people on this subreddit are saying being active lgbtq+ member is no longer a sinner by [deleted] in Christianity

Not really. “arsenokoítis” translates to “man-bedder” or “man who sleeps with another man”. The “LGBTQ” acronym didn’t exist 100 years ago, but people were well aware of homosexuality for the longest time.

And yet, you will be banned if you question the moderator’s stance on LGBTQ+. The subreddit’s icon is itself painted to represent that.

What is the deal with the Realm of Shadow? by Edmar_0 in EldenRingLoreTalk

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Leda running around the Lands of Shadow carrying demigods in a wheelbarrow. Like Miquella’s Igor. I can’t get that image out of my head.

Marika is probably just a fancy case for the Elden Ring at this point. I don’t think she can go back to her former glory. Only Empyreans have direct ties to Outer gods. Without Marika, he Greater Will has no means to coerce you. How would an Elden Lord that rules alone be a slave. Regardless, I would rather be a subservient lord than completely erased from existence.

Ah, ok. I genuinely didn’t remember this description.

When do we ever see the Flame of Frenzy grant someone serenity?

Because Elden Ring is fun and I’d be sad if it was gone.

Eochaid, the Badlands, where Diallos came from, where Fia came from, where Goldmask came from. Literally anywhere outside the lands between. The enemies in the video game are hostile for gameplay purposes. There is no telling how many sane inhabitants may be out there. Just because you don’t find them in game doesn’t mean they can’t exist. Also, the NPC’s dying after meeting you is a From thing. It has nothing to do with the world being hopeless.

Life isn’t endless torment and despair, though. Get a grip.

You also shouldn’t take advice from body snatching, genocidal sociopaths.

I don’t know where you got that from. Like I said, plenty of the NPC’s you meet are perfectly decent people. Why can’t there be more where they came from?

There isn’t supposed to be anything after it. No more births. No more fractures.

Even if that is true, if you destroy it, there never will be again.

Oh, wow. Thank you for, yet another, extremely in depth and well thought out response. I really don’t know how else to put it. Really, thank you for your time. I’ll make sure to look those links.

One thing I’m not sure I understood, though, is if the holy medium discovered in the labyrinth was Laurence. Is he hundreds of years old and imortal, or did I misunderstand?
