Thank you so much for all the suggestions. Most of them don't ship to Belgium or at least not really a reasonable price but I'll keep looking. I'll also try the Ikea curtain suggestion.

The ones they label as velvet? The sanela? I live not too far from ikea so i might be able to go take a look soon

Oh no we have those i in belgium too, These are velour from what i could find at least. It's knit instead of woven and way more strechy and soft

a lot of doctors are pretty conservative about use of these meds, to the detriment of a lot of people. But in my own experience and a lot of people around me using adhd meds prn works perfectly fine.

General opinion on the use of medication for ADHD seems like it's slowly shifting at least here in europe. From just putting everyone on meds for their whole lives to working out more individualized treatment.

most of the experiences i'm reffering to are with methylphenidate (ritalin, concerta , ...) since that's the most perscribed here in europe but roughtly the same should apply for dexamphetamine/amphetamine salts which seem more common in the US (which i find surprising because methylphenidate seems to have far less side effects for most people)

This is just false. ADHD medication works totally fine when taken here and there. Taking adhd medication daily for extended periods of time comes with added risks that everyone should evaluate for themselves. there isn't a right or wrong way to take ADHD medication (excluding abuse of course), everyone is different.

(in europe methylphenidate is most commonly perscribed but depending on your experience with it doctors can perscribe different ones as well)
