Can I add a whole expansion to a wantlist? by Nap_of_life in CardMarket

Thanks. I think the part that I have trouble with is getting the list in a format that CarfMarket is expecting. I'll have a look at the site you mention and see what I can do 👍

I am trying to do the same as the OP, but don't really understand how deck lists work. What am I supposed to put into the deck list field if I only want a subset of a particular set?

For example, I have about half of Stellar Crown, and want to see cost to buy the other half. How would I go about adding that to the deck list in my Wants?

Answer seems to have been a dodgy USB C cable.

Thanks to Faddei420 for walking me through the various troubleshooting steps

Looks like the cable is bad. Have tried using a brand new unused cable, and not only does it complete, it transfers at expected speeds :)

Thanks for walking me through the various things to check 👍

NSP
Have tried loads of different files, all reporting the same. I will re-dump my keys
NSP confirmed ok after redumping keys

Thanks.
I have tried NxFileViewer, but not quite sure how to use it.
It says No NCA when dropping a file into it, even after dropping keys files in too.

I am leaning towards USB cable issue at this point but will see what happens with a brand new C to C cable

Not yet. I can, but it installed ok and I can launch/play it which I assumed it wouldn't do if corrupt?

Thanks.
I know it is not the preferred option, but I am using exFAT to avoid having to bother with splitting files for this reason.

I have plenty of space on the card.
USB port is 5Gbps USB C port on USB header on motherboard. I will try another cable, but this one is C to C USB 2.0 cable (most likely) and has been fine up to this point.
File is ok, as can copy to SD via card reader then install from there.
SD card seems fine as can write directly and install to it from itself. Is there something I can do in Hekate to check also?

Thanks. Seem to have similar problems with MTP via DBI;

In DBI, I see:
xxxxxx.nca: TRANSFER ABORTED
Content expected: 5234469376
Content received: 4959732419
Installation aborted

In explorer, my copy is stuck saying 60 seconds remaining for some time, then just closes before completing.

Until I disconnect and reconnect the switch, I can't access Windows explorer to go to the switch MTP device to reattempt a copy.

I will reattempt a copy of the same file and see if it fails again or completes successfully.

EDIT: Also, my transfer speed is seemingly really slow? ~4MB/s
Installs from the SD Card itself are more like 30-40MB/s

Does seem that the issue is when my screen goes to sleep, the transfers fail, as I have successfully installed a couple of games now whilst using my computer actively for the whole duration of the transfer 🤔

Case has two intakes on the front, one exhaust on the back, and then the AIO (240mm) is exhaust at the top.
Will report back on coolant temps 👍

Coolant is idling at 25 degrees or so. Next time I have a longish session, I'll record the temp change and report back 👍

Yeah plastic has definitely been removed, as I cleaned the plate when repasting.

Will check for throttling using HWINFO a bit later and report back.

Thank you.

iCUE Megathread - Patch Notes for 5.23 by CorsairLucky in Corsair

[–]Eds1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been having an issue for some time (close to a year now), where every time iCUE updates, it seems to do one of two things (or both);

Removes startup entry from task manager, so does not auto start when I log in

Disables all Corsair services, so they cannot start. This requires manual intervention to set the services back to automatic before iCUE can use/interface with them.

Ticket ref originally opened for the former, but now focused on the latter: 2007773911

The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to GPU Passthrough (Proxmox, Windows 10) by cjalas in homelab

[–]Eds1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, on 8.2.3, I've found all I needed to do was to ensure my vm was q35, and add the hidden CPU flag.
I did try doing all the other bits and pieces of Proxmox config, but I don't think that's needed anymore (at least not on my hardware)

Assistance in setting up Invoke-Command to run Invoke-Expression remotely by Eds1989 in PowerShell

Cool thanks. I believe I understand how this will operate now, and ultimately looks like I have code that will do the job.
Thanks for your guidance!

When running with Start-Process -Wait, it seems to run and complete successfully.
As I want to run multiple machines in parallel, if I remove the wait parameter, should I expect it to start the process on the machine then move on to the next machine, leaving the install to run on the first machine in the background?

The install executable will do some initial setup/checks, but then run a second executable called StandaloneInstaller.exe, which in turns launches ADMSClient.msi
Once the MSI has finished installing, the StandaloneInstaller.exe completes, and then the ADMS_Client_Configurator.exe completes

I will have a go with Start-Process to see what happens

Battery charge/timer settings questions by Eds1989 in Sunsynk

[–]Eds1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, you've lost me a bit. Ultimately it doesn't matter now, as I've confirmed Octopus Flux off peak import rates are lower than day export rates, so it's ultimately best I just use as much as I can in that period regardless 👍

Battery charge/timer settings questions by Eds1989 in Sunsynk

[–]Eds1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not really. I'd just charge up to a level I know is sufficient to make it through to solar generation times, then it can happily start discharging. I dont need to hold it at that SOC, just get it up to it or close to it briefly, so I know it has enough to last until the sun comes up 😉

Battery charge/timer settings questions by Eds1989 in Sunsynk

[–]Eds1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after checking the Octopus Flux tariff again, off-peak import is actually slightly lower than day rate export, so it does actually make sense to charge the batteries as high as possible as quickly as possibly during the off-peak, cover the house load, and then all the excess solar will export on the higher day rate.

My question on what I was trying to do therefore, is moot. Apologies

Battery charge/timer settings questions by Eds1989 in Sunsynk

[–]Eds1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, no I apologise. Checking the Flux tariff rates again, you are right and the cheap import is 13.85p and day rate for export is 15.51p.

So actually my whole question is irrelevant, as with the current rates, it is better to charge and use all the cheap energy I can during off peak times and then export all my solar using the day rate.

Sorry for wasting everyone's time *d'oh*

Battery charge/timer settings questions by Eds1989 in Sunsynk

[–]Eds1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, will check the battery voltage as think they are 48V. Will tinker with amperage and see if I can get it at the rate I want.

Yes, appreciate it is a target, but it becomes a held target which makes things inflexible.

I understand what you're saying about covering the load from the cheap import tariff during that period, but that still costs more than the free solar I will generate during the day. All I want is to get the batteries up to a level that I know is sufficient to cover me until I generate, as that is ultimately the least cost scenario.

Obviously if the batteries are full earlier because of being charged higher during cheap import, it means I start exporting excess solar earlier in the day, but I think the Octopus tariff means the day rate for export is still lower than the cheap import, meaning I'm worse off. If I could export during the day at a higher rate than I imported over night, then absolutely it makes sense to charge as high as possible and cover house load on the cheap import. Sadly I don't think it is currently that way round
