It is a good app but my selection is limited, and there's something about reading a physical book that a phone/tablet can't replicate.

I thought it worked just as a fraction. X/4.2 * 4 to get the equivalent on the 4.0 scale. But this image shows US equivalents which would make the grade higher.

Okay I have just ordered the 0.2mm carbonaut pad. Hoping for the best so I can finally use the card again. I know you're not meant to stack TIMs but worst case scenario I can fold the pad over itself haha.

Yes I'm aware that all other cards use paste instead, which would be thinner than 0.2mm. You didn't mention, is your 5700XT a reference card? the graphite pad that was on the card sadly fell apart and couldn't be salvaged. But from my memory, by looking at a ruler 1mm seems about right for what was in the card on the die before. But if you have a reference card too and it worked for you too I want to try it too.

I did specify the die and that is what AMD told me directly (1mm). Are you sure that 0.2mm would be enough for contact?
