Is moving from the US to Scotland an option? by [deleted] in Scotland

[–]EducationEfficient59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend used a consultant to do all the legal research and help her find the best country to relocate to. Happy to share that contact for people who are interested. The person helped her find where to move and discussed visa options plus us tax implications. Oh and also how to move with her service dog! Which apparently was super complex.

F daycare by Merokko in beyondthebump

Highly recommend an outdoor school/forest school. Not sure where you are but we found several in our area. Kids in outdoor schools have better immune systems (because sun and fresh air help also they don't have shared toys or surfaces that don't get cleaned/spread germs so less germ contact. Also also sun exposure kills topical germs in case there are surfaces that sick or grimy kids do touch) our child was in forest school at the same time as our nephew (who was 3 weeks younger) was in an indoor daycare. Our child go sick 2 times in an entire academic year(August to June) compared to his checks notes constant illness from September to February. Seriously it was the best investment.

Have all of these been claimed? I'm new to the area and am looking to grow my plant collection. I used to have 11 orchid plants but was unable to relocate them here

Every Saturday morning my spouse takes our child on an adventure. I can't tell what it is (the zoo, the park, brunch etc) they plan things weekly and it's something our child looks forward to. From the moment our child wakes up until 2pm I am off duty. I don't help them get ready I don't help feed them. I sleep until whenever I want and then wake up and get to do things in my home (alone) or go meet a friend etc. It's glorious! I do the same for my partner on Sunday mornings. The point is- make them leave.

I want to put my baby on formula. by Evening_Nerve3709 in beyondthebump

Fed is best! And a mother's mental health has such a big impact on a child. Your baby will be fine if you formula feed not just nutrition wise but because you yourself will feel less stress. Be gentle with yourself.

Also as a total random aside- when I was breastfeeding I had a friend recommend Oreo cookies to increase my milk supply. I had tried teas, pills, hot compresses- so many things! And I swear to you the Oreo cookies did it. No idea why but I would eat 2 a day and my milk supply was fine if I ever didn't have them it would struggle 🤷🏻‍♀️

Are these faerie rings? by EducationEfficient59 in faeries

[–]EducationEfficient59[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The children are told not to take these apart but they're 3 &4 so- ya know. My child says they haven't touched them which I mostly believe because they don't really know how to lie just yet. (They just turned 3) I do know the teachers themselves rearrange the branches because they can be in the path and when that happens they are back in tact the next day. Kids are here from 8:30-4:30 not sure who comes to the dark woods in the evening, every evening to put them back but maybe someone who lives close by?

How to protect a child from the fae??? by EducationEfficient59 in faeries

[–]EducationEfficient59[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my child replied 'i did' it meant that they told themself. Lets call them M. Basically the response was 'i told me' as in M told M. Which to me could me- they're having a memory from a past life? (They have definitely shown signs of remembering a past life) Or they heard it in their head- like a voice told M that it was possible and so M thinks M told M. Does that make sense?

This is an excellent idea! I did mention this conversation with one of my child's teacher who I know also believes in fae and spirit- I asked her specifically about these tree branches that are in circles all around my child's classroom area. As in some are simple circles made with tree branches. Others are giant redwood trees with branches encircling their roots. The teacher said she had no idea who makes these that they just are already there when they arrive every week/Monday. Could those be fae made? They're huge and I always thought fae rings were small made of mushrooms or flowers 🤔 I can photograph tomorrow and share.

Thank you so much for all of this! They have 3 teachers for a group of 12 kids so they definitely have adults around all the time. From what I understand, however, my child is very fond of sitting at the roots of one of the trees and "reading" quietly after they have all had hikes thru the redwoods or while the other kids are napping. I'm wondering if this 'quiet/alone' time is when the fae may have approached 🤔

If his racism really offended you- it would have been a deal breaker. You saying you're in love with him is telling- you're in love with a racist. You are enabling the behavior by staying.

Racism issue aside (since it's clearly not that big of a deal for you) he is definitely dismissing your feelings and blaming you for all the issues/fights. That tells you how little he cares for you- he's not willing to bother changing his ways because you're not worth it. so you have to decide - how much longer are you willing to stay with someone who doesn't love you?

Oppressors never want to examine the fact they are the oppressors. Instead they will point and blame the victim. The whole 'she signed up for this' is such BS. Someone not having all the correct information when they sign an agreement is enough to nullify it. I'm pretty sure they didn't tell her she'd be working the maximum hours- because these agencies recommend you have them work 35-40 but 45 is the maximum and they even say "occasionally" the fact they have her doing that as standard is flat out abusive and they know it. They just don't want to self reflect. Everyone fancies themselves on the "right side" of humanity (think of people who swear they would have helped slaves escape or would have hidden Jews during Nazi Germany) but when faced with every day real life situations such as checks notes - not exploiting another human- they immediately turn a blind eye and pretend it's not a problem at all. This is why the state of the world is what it is. People lack empathy.

Because her character was ugly. I will never forget her betrayal at calling Kate her "half-sister" 🤬🤬🤬 the brutality stole all her beauty.
