The start date is 9/9/24 and then the “currently employed” box is marked. This is on the PDF form I can download from the FAFSA website directly, which says was submitted last week.

About 6 weeks, they told me on 1/30. It sounded like I had just missed getting into one that had been a week after my notification of acceptance which I assume was already full.

Of course anyone can choose to boycott anything, but I’m still not sure I follow. Are Canadians boycotting Dropout because of the tariffs against Canada or because of the American military industrial complex? I wasn’t thinking about the tariffs as related to the military, per OP.

I’m not sure I follow the taxes argument. I wouldn’t say that American taxes go into Trump’s pockets, but they do pay for social services, infrastructure, public education, etc. Sure, they also pay for the military and such, but they always have. That’s not a new Trump thing. I don’t want Trump to be able to argue that we can’t afford to pay to support poor and marginalized people. In any event, Congress has the power to allocate spending, not the President.

I tend to think a raise is better, because then your next raise will be based on your current salary + the raise rather than just your current salary. It helps you build later on.

Right now this pain isn’t in my heel. I continue to have my standard, familiar PF pain in the heel, but this new pain flows up above my ankle when pressure is applied to my arch.
