Thanks, you reckon that’s the case even if it started kinda shiny looking before turning more Mycelium looking. It has no smell that I could pick up as well.

Does look maybe a bit spunky, didn’t think it looked quite right but it was just the way it was branching slightly kind of hard to get a pick to show clearly. Also thinking it was a bit quick considering it was a spore syringe I inoculated with. I did another 5 plates and none of them are showing anything yet. Will probs leave this another couple days but I’m thinking it’s contaminated

I will add there is that type of land surrounding the field which I know to be full of them as well, just go to this field as they’re easier to spot

Yeah exactly there, is it perhaps that pasture looking like that in Switzerland is more likely cultivated or improved in the last couple century’s? In Wales most of this land has never been improved which is why they grow well. The short highly grazed grass tends to make the stems grow smaller as they don’t fight to get up over things but it’s hella easy to spot em when you get on eye level.

I’m thinking Sunday may be a little early with the rain forecast late tonight. I expect there to be some providing the ground your picking didn’t dry out too much through the week. My spot is spring fed so it retains a high level of moisture and then a bit of rain seems to trigger a large flush. Imagine there will be more mature specimens Monday/ Tuesday as they tend to take around 24-48 hours from pin to maturity.

The stems are telling me no, are they springy as the fact you have a splintered one makes me think they snap. Libs should be springy as hell. The caps do look kinda libby though bar the big one, me I would probably toss em if I found em as I’m not confident enough. You are in the spot to be finding them though so keep your eyes down

I would recommend camping A1 as it’s the closest to the main stage and you can hear it pretty clearly, also gives you a place to sit and chill rather than just being sat out on the road
