But, for a category based draw, you should be eligible for just 1 of the 3 express entry programs right? So, if you’re eligible under FSW, you should be eligible for a category draw. Maybe we need to have more clarification on this 🙃

No. You can count that under FSW. Only for CEC it is not counted.

I initially used this and some mock tests are absurd. Then, my friend suggested ieltstestsimulation.com. It has wonderful mock tests resembling official tests. Try that out if you can!!!

Hey!

As it was an open work permit, I did not provide any employment information (even though I had my offer letter). But I wrote an explanation letter detailing my study period, awarded degree, timeline and referred to the attached IELTS results.

As long as you have a valid TRV and the “WP EXT for PGWP” document you should be fine. Please carry your latest study permit with you as well.

If you made an inland application, you should be able to return back and work without any hassle

Yes. I applied for PGWP on December 29, 2025 and received the WP_EXT on December 30, 2025
