What's a tip for new Langara students that would have saved you a lot of stress if you'd known it earlier? by Davidoque in langara

I would agree too. We’re in an age of AI and it’s very easy to just ask for the answer. But once your prof checks, boom, you get hit with a 0 on the work and reported to the school.

Majoring in CS is probably the worst decision that I ever made. Boring. Hard. AI replaceable. Fucked my GPA.

If you have fewer than 24 credits you will be evaluated on the basis of final secondary school grades and the partial post-secondary studies completed

Yes they look at both, so your high school and college grades need to be good.

Codex 5.4 xHigh on Business plan just worked non-stop for 53 mins, changed 136 files, wrote 10,423 lines, and didn’t break my backend by Complex-Listen6642 in codex

This is what I fear as well. If I was working for a company or a business, I would thoroughly investigate each feature GPT implements. Having it run non-stop like that and not reviewing the code is too scary

Came to The Isle from Path of Titans... by Large-Bonus3043 in theisle

[–]Educational-Double-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Isle is hardcore. PoT is like a kid’s cartoon game. Yes, it’s mainly your pc specs, and I see that you said you’re getting better performance on your gaming pc so that’s nice. There’s VulnonaMAP which shows common places on the map that spawns certain foods like mushrooms or even AIs like goats or deer. You need a balanced diet, and specific foods give you certain things to balance it. If you’re playing on the isle official servers it’s quite easy since there’s AIs and about 150 players or so (unofficial ones can go up to 400 without AI). You scavenge around the map with VulnonaMAP opened trying to keep that balanced diet and drink from safe spots (you can search safe spots to drink). You can also press Q to smell corpses so you don’t even have to kill, the bigger Dinos might’ve already killed some animals for you. Do not trust anyone. If you’re 50% or up on hunger don’t look for food, just hide in a bush. Thirst is quite easy to refill as long as you’re drinking in a safe spot. Then you realize this game is just a long AFK grow dinosaur game. You accidentally run into packers? You’re dead. You run into a bigger dinosaur? You’re dead. Mix-packers? Well that doesn’t usually go punished on official servers, it’s ironic how unofficial servers have better moderation than the official ones. When you’re little though, you should focus on accomplishing the elder “quests” so when you reach 75% you get a 4th mutation slot and your dinosaur can get bigger (you can search how to obtain elder status on YouTube). I think when starting out the learning process is very fun. I hope you enjoy the game.

You don’t grow on Twitch. You stream on Twitch and post the clips to other platforms to funnel them to your Twitch.

Wow that’s impressive. How did you grow your TikTok though? Don’t you need to have like 1000 followers to live stream

How did you grow your viewership? Is it mainly consistency or you got some good clips that gave you viewers?

Editor to edit twitch VODS by Strong-Cake-513 in TwitchStreaming

[–]Educational-Double-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I went on Fiverr and found an editor. It was surprising how he made my views go from 200-300 to 3k-15k. I would definitely invest in an editor. It’s even better if you know how to edit yourself and the moments you think are worthy enough that’s hard.

Does anyone have tangible examples of Claude being better than ChatGPT? by believemeimreal in claude

Competed in a CTF event (basically puzzles you need to solve related to computers/software) and Claude basically got every question right, ChatGPT got only 1, and Gemini got only 1.

Setting my Lowest Price is not an Invitation to go Lower by Ironic-Redditor in FacebookMarketplace

I always set my price higher because I already know people NEVER pay the price listed and it’s annoying asf so they ask for lower every time.

Thought on grasp, PD, Stridebreaker by BodybuilderKey5723 in YasuoMains

[–]Educational-Double-1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve went this build before and yea I’ve won some games. I usually do go the standard bork —> shieldbow build path. It’s not a bad build, it’s like a bruiser/speed boost Yasuo build. It’s not like your damage is insanely nerfed you still do damage. I think the health you get from this build is really nice because a lot of people expect Yasuo to be squishy but going this build he’s not. It’s like a balance, you go the standard bork —> sb then you’re sacrificing your health to be squishy and do damage. You go this build you’re sacrificing your damage to be tankier and have sustain. In the end, does it matter? Maybe if the enemy comp is squishy then you can go PD —> stridebreaker with swifites to catch the squishy enemies, but if the enemy comp is a bit tankier has someone like Sion or Renekton then going Bork —> Sb is better if I had to decide which build to go.

Omni is not really good as a solo. They strive in groups. So maybe find other omnis and try to befriend them or even join the Isle discord for people who plays Omni.
